Merry Christmas from our blessed family to yours. We hope that everyone has a special Christmas. This is a Christmas we will never forget. Aubrey is asleep and Tom is at work I am about to got to sleep so Santa won't pass us up. Happy Christmas to all and to all a good night.
This was our second attempt to take pictures of the girls in there Christmas dresses. As you can see it didn't go so good this time either. Even though they didn't cooperate they still look beautiful.
I took Aubrey to the Dr. this morning because she kept pulling on her ear and had a little cough. She has a a little fluid on her ear but it wasn't infected. So we got a RX for ear drops. But the big news was that these problems are related to the fact that she is TEETHING. She is cutting a tooth on top. So I am sure things are about to get interesting around here. She also weighed 14lbs 13oz.
Ready to Go to Christmas Play So excited Tonight Aubrey got to go to her first Christmas play at church. She had a good time and loved listening to the kids sing. She even helped them out and hummed some of the songs with them.
Aubrey had her first "accident" last week. She grabbed the box that our Christmas cards came in and cut her hand. You would have thought she grabbed a Ginsu knife, blood was everywhere. Lucky for her she has her very own nurse and he wrapped her hand up. In case you are wondering I cried she didn't.
Aubrey got to go see a very special friend today, SANTA. He was very happy to see her and said she was the sweetest little present. Aubrey visited with him for a minute but was interested in watching all the other kids. She told him everything she wanted and to have a safe trip on Christmas Eve and away we went.
Aubrey has been working on rolling over for quite a while now. At some point she quit trying and decided she was comfy just laying on her side. She would roll to her belly but would still have one arm under her so I didn't consider that an official roll over. Well moma kept Aubrey on Thursday while I went to work and did a little Santa's helper work. She went to maw maw's house so that Aubrey and Olivia could play together. Aubrey decided to show Olivia what she could do and rolled over flat on her belly and them pushed herself up with her hands. Would you believe the one day out of the week I leave her she decides to roll over. Of course no one there had a camera to take her picture. They even debated on telling me because they knew I would be sad because I missed it. She also hasn't done it again so that I could see her. Maybe I will see it soon and can even catch a picture of it.
I do not like them Sam-I-am. I do not like green beans.
Aubrey got her first taste of green beans tonight. She hated them. She got very mad and spit them out, they went up her nose. The 3rd bite got spit on her feet. I even tried mixing it in some cereal and she wouldn't eat it. I guess we will try them again tomorrow night.
Aubrey will play with whatever I give her. Her favorite toys this week are a solo cup and a plastic bowl. Last week it was an empty formula can and a plastic bag(I had to take the bag when she wouldn't stop putting it in her mouth) . Her favorite game is I drop it you pick it up.
Tom and I had our first real date on Saturday. We went to Shreveport and ate at our favorite place Saltgrass. It was wonderful as always. We had been saying that we wanted to go on a real date. All three of us have been out to eat during the day just no night dates. So moma and daddy watched Aubrey so we could have a night time date. It was fun but we were both twitching to get back home to see Aubrey.
I just realized that I haven't posted a 5 month picture of Aubrey yet. OOPS! She turned 5 Months on Sunday. Time is just flying by to fast. I can't believe she will be 1/2 of a year next month. Seams like it was just yesterday that I was trying to figure out why my nose was swelling from my pregnancy.
