Who has time to blog?!

Let’s see if I can make one more post about “planning on doing better” about blogging. I have told myself that I need to post every other week so that I don’t get so behind on pictures. We will see how that goes!

It was the ancient computer holding me back from blogging but now our nonstop busy days are holding me back from blogging. Who knew that adding one more little body to our family could make our day to day activities so much busier (all the mothers of multiple children are laughing at this I know). Most of our/my day is spent making a meal, cleaning up from a meal, making a fun mess, cleaning a mess, dirtying cloths and cleaning cloths (and diapers). In between those chores we are playing, crafting, reading, singing, dancing, coloring, painting, watching tunes and anything else that keep the girls entertained and having fun.

We are enjoying the time change! With the extra hours of sunlight we get to spend time outside after Tom leaves for work. We have started going back to the park at the school on some evenings and Aubrey is loving that.

Here are some “great” snapshots of the 4 of us. haha

Oh the things she can do

March has brought on lots of new changes for Ella Kate, she is now eating carrots and cereal. She did not like her first round of cereal but after a few days she got OK with it. She is now rolling from belly to back and back to belly. Meaning she rolls all over the floor. She has started teething and she is not loving it! Our late evenings now require more holding time because that is when she seems to hurt the worse. Other than that she is a very happy baby, she has a smile that will melt your heart.

Ella Kate turned 5 months old on March 17th,

Happy St Patrick's Day

When Ella Kate rolls onto her belly Aubrey says that she is "playing frog"

Then when she rolls back over she says "there that's better"

I have decided to take on the "adventure" of making Ella Kate's baby food. I made my first round of carrots this week and really enjoyed making it. She enjoyed eating them also. I was relieved that she liked them, I was hoping that I didn't peel all those carrots for nothing. Next week I plan to cook her some squash, stay tunned to see how that goes!

not so sure

More please!

Aubrey in action

Aubrey is still what I like to consider a "beautiful mess"(haha) she is full of energy but can also be completely calm at times. She loves anything to do with a Princess, castles, animals, books, letters, and trains, she loves to be outside. She has an amazing memory, she know several bible verses and lots of songs but if you ask her to sing or quote on demand it isn't going to happen. Momma tells me all the time that I need to video her singing and doing some of her funny "tricks" but soon as you pull out the camera she stops. Here are some pictures of the "beautiful mess" in action. LOVE HER!

Aubrey loved her new "jammies"

She said "OK waddle it's time for naps"

Her current book of choice is The Little Red Hen

What started out to be an innocent game of "jump in the water"(that is what Aubrey calls throwing things into water) quickly turned into a game of literally jumping in the water. I was glad that I had decided to put her rubber boots on her.

After running in the water she would would say "is it fun" and would repeat it until I would ask her if it was fun. Her response each time was "it is fun"

I thought that this was going to be the end of the fun she was having

but she recovered nicely

February has come and gone

We kicked off February by celebrating Valentines and Love. We started wearing our red, pink and anything with hearts on it outfits. Our bible verses were about love and our crafts (except our caterpillar and butterfly one) were about love. We also had some red, pink and heart themed snacks.

Ella Kate is full of Love and Joy!
She is a very happy girl and smiles all the time

She turned 4 months old February 17th, at her checkup she weighed 12lb 12oz and was 24 inches long.

This is what Aubrey was doing while I was taking the above picture of Ella Kate. She was singing "I’m gonna be a mighty king" from the Lion King and was making the face that Nala makes

Later she decided she wanted to nap in sisters room

Rena, Ben and Mollie came in for Emalee's birthday party and to do some fireworks that we didn't get to do on Christmas Eve.

Mollie really liked Ella Kate; she would bring toys to her and then throw them to her. She was trying to play with her even if it was a little ruff! She had also mastered saying "Aubrey". She would take off running after her and yell "Aubrey", it was very cute.

Aubrey was very excited to see fireworks, when she walked outside she saw the fire she yelled "wireworks". She sat down in front of it and was quiet content with watching the fire. It didn't take her long to figure out that there was much more to them.

All on one day we had 3 birthday parties to go to but, since we was having so much fun at the first one we missed the second one. We made it to the third one but my camera didn't. So here are the pictures from Lucas' birthday party.

We had a little Mardi Gras celebration on Fat Tuesday, I dressed the girls up and Aubrey played "parade" with the beads.
