That Darn Cat

The worlds ugliest cat showed up at our house last week. I was ok with it being here at first because I thought it could keep lizard away(they are fond of our porch). I had no idea that Aubrey would love the cat so much, or that the cat would love her so much. She will stand at the back door saying Cat Cat Cat Mow Mow Mow(meow). Soon as we go outside to play she starts saying Mow Mow Mow and looking for it and of course it shows up to play. The only problem is I have decided that the cat has flees. So I had to keep running it off which was not easy. So I suppose I will be going to walmart to get something to kill the flees, since the cat and Aubrey are so fond of each other and the cat will not go away.

Child Proof? I think not

I got these little bowls for Aubrey that suction to her high chair in order to prevent spills. I decided to give them a try at snack time yesterday. Well so much for child proof bowls it only took her about 30 seconds to take her goldfish out of it and figure out how to get it pulled loose. Oh well sounded like a good idea.

It's Saints time!!!

Aubrey had fun cheering on the Saints tonight. When the game first started she would throw her hands up in the air and throw her head back, I'm not quite sure what she was doing, but it was funny. She only made it to half time though,I will have to let her know in the morning that the Saints won.WOOHOO!

On the edge of her seat

All into the game

Playing her guitar for the half time show

To much excitement

Why is Aubrey so Happy?

She just woke up from a 3 1/2 hour nap, that's why. We have been working hard for the last few weeks to cut out her morning nap so that she would take one longer midday nap instead of a shorter morning and evening nap. So far it is going good, she woke up very happy after her nap today.

Back in buisness....Kinda

Last Saturday my camera and my memory card decided that they no longer wanted to work together so we have been out of commission. Luckily my card still worked in moma's camera so I was able to upload them to my computer. I am way behind on what all we have been doing, here is a short update. Our niece Rachael turned 6 so we went to her Birthday party last Saturday. Aubrey loved playing around the water slide, before we even had a chance to put her swim suit on she went strait to the water. Tom just took her clothes off and let her play in the water/mud/grass. She had a big time getting dirty. Then that evening we decided to ride the 4 wheeler to the Lake and "Ditch". The road we live on has been very busy the last few weeks duck hunting season is getting closer and closer. When you live on the same road as the Lake you become very aware of the changing of seasons.

We also had a visit with Ben and Mollie a few weeks ago. This was Mollie's first trip to Jena. Rena went to a wedding so we got to keep Ben and Mollie at Maw Maw and Paw Paw's house. I thought this would be a perfect time to take a few pictures of Mollie but Paw Paw didn't agree. As soon as he saw that I had her outside(he was riding the tractor with Ben) he came over to where I was and insisted that I taker her inside because she was to little to be outside. So I only got a couple pictures of just Mollie. Aubrey just loves Ben and Mollie, she followed Ben all over the house Ben would run to a different room and say "where did she go" he didn't understand that she couldn't run as fast as him. Aubrey once again had to see how close she could get to Mollie.
