Yes I know I am way behind on the blog but a lot has happened in the last two weeks.
On July 4Th weekend we moved into our new house. It was a long hot weekend. I didn't do that much but everyone else in the family worked really hard getting us moved in. Sunday night I went to bed (in the new house) feeling like something was different. I woke up at 2:06 Monday morning and discovered my water had broke. Our baby was on her way. My labor went very well. Epidural is my new best friend. At 2:32Pm Tom and I got the most wonderful gift anyone could ever receive, a child. Aubrey Lee Greer showed up 3 weeks early weighing in at 6lbs 1oz, 19 1/2inches long and absolutely beautiful. On Wednesday we got to go home but Aubrey's jaundice levels were up so we would have to come back the next morning to have her retested.
We went back Thursday morning for her blood work then went home. We had been home long enough to change 1 diaper and the Dr called back and said that her levels were dangerously high. Since she hadn't been eating well she was dehydrated and she needed to be admitted into the hospital. Of coarse I have a break down then pull myself together and we head off to the hospital. She was so pitiful. She was orange and just limp as could be. We got there and they had to put her in a little box and put the blue "tanning" lights on her and put her on IV fluids. We had to leave her in the box with her eyes covered. We could take her out to feed her and that was it. By the next day she was much better and eating good. By Saturday she was doing very good and we got to come home.
Sunday we had lots of company. Everyone was ready to see sweet little Aubrey. Kennady and Kassady wanted to hold her so bad. They loved her to death. Aunt Dean, Dusti, and Hunter brought baby Madi by to visit. Casey and Lucas also came by. We took group pictures of them. Lucas will be 5months on Thursday, Madi is 5 weeks and Aubrey was 6 days
