Finding Nemo

Yesterday was a big day for Aubrey, she got to go to the movies for the first time. She liked watching Nemo on "the giant TV" and of corse she loved the popcorn and icee.

Blogging app

I finally thought to download the blog app on my phone today. So maybe that will help me keep everyone update more often with our day to day events.

We are outside at this moment and the girls are having a Popsicle break. We got lots of rain here yesterday so as you can see the girls are a little muddy from playing.

Over the hill and thru the mountains to Gatlinburg we go

A couple of weeks ago we left going toward Virginia for my cousins wedding. We decided to make a vacation out of the road trip and spent a few days in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg TN. The road trip with Ella Kate, who cries and gets car sick was not so much fun but once we got there we had a great time. On the first day we just rode around looking kind of seeing what all we wanted to do. Aubrey who is slightly obsessed with the Berenstain Bears, request to see Bears, Santa, and reindeer’s. She was in luck we were in the town that happens to have all of those things year around. Our first stop was feeding the bears at a store that also happened to have a huge Santa outside. That evening Momma insisted that we go to the Dixie Stampede, I wasn't so sure about it because I didn't know how Aubrey and Ella Kate would do. From the time we walked in the doors to the time we walked out Aubrey had a blast. She was so into the show! I had no clue that she would love it so much. She is still talking about all of it.

Welcome to Dollywood

On our second day we went to Dollywood. Aubrey and Tom had a great time riding lots of rides and I even got "brave" and rode the flying elephants with Ella Kate and the tea cups. I do admit we never let our elephant fly we just kept it down low. We didn't so Dolly but we had a great time.

Ripley's

We went to the Ripley's Aquarium and it was wonderful. It had so many different types of fish and sharks and penguins. But my favorite part was the mermaid show. Yes that's correct mermaids. Aubrey loved watching the girls performing and she got to meet and take a picture with them.

Never a dull moment

Things are always busy around here with these two little girls. They are so funny and keep me on my toes.

out with the old in with the new

Aubrey got a new swing set for her birthday but since it rained for 2 weeks after her birthday she had to wait a little while so that Tom could put it together. Tom had lots of "help" from Aubrey and Ella Kate. The girls love the swing set and we spend lots of time outside playing on it. one last swing on the old swing set
