Cooking and Cleaning

Aubrey loves to help me cook, she request eggs for breakfast most mornings because she wants to "scramble". Last week we were mixing up some pudding and she held up the whisk and said "can I eat it" I said sure it is yummy. She licked it and said "wow that taste good". She kept stirring the pudding with the whisk so that she could lick it off.





Bath time is always an adventure at our house. Some nights it is smooth as can be, some nights it is complete and total chaos and some nights it is the best part of our day. These are some pictures from one of our fun and sweet bath nights. You can tell in these pictures how much Ella Kate adores her big sister. She is always smiling at Aubrey.

It is still looking a lot like Christmas

Aubrey is still in full Christmas mode and doesn't seem to be letting up. She sings Jingle Bells all of the time and we are still watching Christmas movies. During our Christmas church service they passed out little battery operated lights that look like candles,we sang Silent Night they turned off all of the lights except for these little lights. Well Aubrey found hers in her bag a few Sundays ago and kept asking to turn the lights off and started quietly singing Silent Night. She was painting the other day and when she was finished I asked her what she had painted she said, A castle and reindeer and a choo choo train(polar express). She also talks to Ella Kate about seeing the Christmas lights. I am hoping that she will get into Valentines day this month so we can have a new holiday to talk about.
