The end of a good day

Aubrey had a big night at maw maw and paw paw's. We winded down the evening with a long bath at there house then we headed home.

Eating Cheetos like Uncle Hurley

Aubrey was watching her Uncle Hurley eat some Cheetos tonight and he was wanting to give her one but since she had a bad run in with a cheese nip I said no. Then we decided since she did such a good job clapping she could have one. Tom gave her one and she loved it.

Necie showed Aubrey a new trick

I had about decided that Aubrey would never learn to clap her hands because she never seemed to care when I would clap her hands together. But tonight at maw maw and paw paw's house Denise was singing patty cake to Aubrey and she just started clapping her hands together. We all yelled and cheered for her. She kept doing it over and over and even did it long enough for us to get the camera out of the car and video her. Denise is just getting warmed up for her new granddaughter.

A new stage of Aubrey

It seems like every time we turn around Aubrey has grown and doing something new. A few weeks ago I went to lay her in the tub and she went stiff. Meaning I don't want to lay down I want to sit or stand. So I sat her up in the tub. She loves to splash the water and go after her duck. I just think she looks so grown sitting in the tub.

Doing the laundry

Aubrey and her skitty(sock kitty) helped me wash and dry cloths the other night. I was so glad to have the extra help. Hopefully they will learn to hang clothes up really soon.

The correct snack from Aunt Lauren

In my last post I said that Lauren had got Aubrey the plums and apples, once again I was wrong on the food. I had got her the plums and apples and Lauren got her some apple and blueberries. So here is a picture of her enjoying her snack from Aunt Lauren. She didn't make any funny faces but she must have liked them because she was eating the bites she dropped off of the bib.

Lauren gave Aubrey a jar of plums and apples baby food. Aubrey loved them, but it must have felt funny because she kept sticking her tongue out. Then she would pouch her lips out.

A Party for Lucas

Lucas turned 1 last week and his party was on Saturday. It was perfect weather for an outside party. We had a wonderful time visiting with everyone and celebrating a year of Lucas. Make sure you pay close attention to the bottom picture to see what Lucas got for his birthday.

Group pictures never go well

We tried to get a good picture of Aubrey, Lucas and Riley(Fallin). As you can see that didn't go well. Aubrey cried and Riley pushed Lucas out of the way. I think she just wanted her picture took by herself. Oh well at least we got a cute picture of Riley.

So lady like

For some reason Aubrey loves to spit. I am assuming it feels good to her gums. She does it all the time and her cloths will be soaking wet. Hopefully she will out grow it soon.

Early Valentines Party

Tom gave me and Aubrey our Valentines presents last night. He got Aubrey a little Strawberry teething toy and she LOVES it. Aubrey and I also made Tom a pink cheesecake(his favorite dessert) while he was gone to pick up a pizza.
